We liked this biography and read it as part of our research for a first-person report, but we had better information in the TIME FOR KIDS biography for SBA instead.

Perfect for my 2nd grader's book oral report. It was easy for her to read and understand. The book contained all the fact required for her report. Great buy! :)

Glad to see book on this subject written on this level for my grandchildren. It is nicely written on the third level, one a second grader can handle. It is informative . Problem is it is too informatve. Children respond better to a good well written story, to be able to identify with the person and connect emotionally. This book gives one fact after the other after the other...and you feel like you are reading a history text book, not a story. So yes, they will learn about this great lady, but another source will be need to get then to say "Awesome" when they think of her.
